The vUSCG Training Command is responsible for maintaining and issuing all training to the members of the vUSCG, be it the initial Cadet Training, or Advanced SAR Operations.

New members to the vUSCG undergo training at Coast Guard Air Station (CGAS) Mobile, AL.  The vUSCG Training Command also provides advanced training for veteran vUSCG members, such as Oceanic Flight training, CSAR, Intercept training, SAR Level I, SAR level II and Coast Guard One/Two certification just to name a few.
