Operation Deep Freeze (ODF)

Operation Deep Freeze is a multi national joint operation to study the continent of Antarctica. We simulate the logistic flights that are used to bring everything from personnel to supplies from the continental United States to a staging area in Christchurch New Zealand, before it is moved to its final destination, Antarctica.

The operation is coordinated by the vUSAF and is a 3 phase event. Phase 1 is deployment, where all the supplies and personnel are moved to the staging area. Phase 2 is called the Mainbody and consists of moving the supplies and personnel down to Antarctica. Phase 3 named Re-deployment consists of moving all aircraft and personnel back to their home bases.
