Virtual Navy Cross
Awarded to any member of the vUSCG who distinguishes himself in action by extraordinary heroism, not justifying an award of the Medal of Honor, while engaged in action against an enemy of the United States, while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force and/or while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict in which the United States is not a belligerent party.

Virtual Defense Distinguished Service
Awarded by the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Exceptional Service to the Defense of the United States.
A bronze oak leaf attachment signifies each additional award.

Awarded to a vUSCG member distinguishes themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to the US in a duty of great responsibility.
A gold star attachment signifies each additional award.
Virtual Silver Star
Awarded to any member of the vUSCG who distinguishes themselves by extraordinary heroism in action against an enemy of the United States, while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force and/or while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party.

Virtual Defense Superior Service
Awarded to Military Officers who perform exceptionally meritorious service in a degree of great responsibility.
A bronze oak leaf attachment signifies each additional award.
Distinguished Virtual Flying Cross
Awarded to any vUSCG member who distinguishes themselves by heroism in an aerial flight.
A gold star attachment signifies each additional award.
vUSCG Medal
Awarded to any vUSCG member that distinguishes himself by heroism not involving actual conflict with the enemy. The individual must have performed a voluntary act of courage surpassing normal expectation and in the face of great danger.
vUSCG Gold Lifesaving Medal
Awarded to any vUSCG member that rescues (or endeavors to rescue) an American citizen in US waters at the risk of the rescuer's own life with evidence of extreme and heroic daring.
Bronze Virtual Star
Awarded to any vUSCG member that shall distinguish himself by heroic or meritorious achievement or service, although NOT for aerial flight.

Virtual Defense Meritorious Service
Awarded to any vUSCG member for non-combat meritorious achievement or service that is incontestably exceptional and of a magnitude that clearly places the individual above his peers while serving an assignment.
A bronze oak leaf attachment signifies each additional award.
Virtual Meritorious Service
Awarded to any vUSCG member for outstanding achievement or meritorious service to the US in a non-combat setting.
A gold star attachment signifies each additional award.
Virtual Air Medal
Awarded to any vUSCG member for meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight in both combat and non-combat situations.
A gold star attachment signifies each additional award.
Virtual Aerial Achievement Medal
Awarded to any vUSCG member that achieves at least 400 hours of aerial service to the vUSCG.
A bronze oak leaf attachment signifies each additional award (400 hours) up to 2000 hours. A silver oak leaf attachment is awarded for each additional 400 hours, over 2000 hours, up to 3600 hours.
vUSCG Silver Lifesaving Medal
Similar to the Gold Lifesaving Medal but need not involve such a high degree of heroism and risk.
Joint Service Commendation Medal
Awarded to any vUSCG member that distinguishes himself by meritorious achievement or service.

Awarded to any vUSCG member that distinguishes himself by heroism, outstanding achievement, or meritorious service above that expected and worthy of special recognition.
