The Virtual United States Coast Guard 14th District is responsible for the operations in one of the largest Areas of Responsibility (AOR) in the entire vUSCG. The District AOR includes over 12.2. million square miles of land and ocean in the Central Pacific, and The Freely Associated States of Federated Micronesia, Republic of Marshall Islands, and the Republics of Palau and Kiribati are all contained within our internationally designated Honolulu Search and Rescue region.

In general terms, the boundaries of this vast area stretch from about 700 nautical miles North of Midway Island, to more than 300 nautical miles South of the Equator. East and West, the area extends from the Philippine Sea to a line halfway between the Hawaiian Islands and the continental United States and includes 5 time zones and 2 days.

Air support for these operations comes from Air Station Barbers Point. Air assets include four (3) HC-130H Hercules fixed-wing aircraft and one (1) HH-65 Dolphin helicopter. Choose one of the links above for more information regarding the Virtual United States Coast Guard 14th District.
